        Rome wasn't built in a day, in Chinese culture, there are other two sentences having the same meaning with it: the first is that three-foot ice is not formed in a cold day. The second is that taking a bite can not be a fat man. All of the three sentences mean that the most important character for reaching a goal is insistence. Insistence means never give up. Doing a same thing everyday is very diffiicult and boring, but when you stick to it, you will have a unexpected gains.
        Take me as an example, when l was a sophomore, I am a fat man about 200 pounds. Every one doesn't like me, they did not want to make friends with me. More unfortunately, in the 3000 meters running fainl exam of sports I failed and did not pass the exam. I am dispirited and inferior all the day at that time. Every time I looked at myself in the mirror, even I hated myself. I thought it is time to make some changes. From then on, I went to the nearest GYM from my house everyday and I setted a goal of running 5000 meters each day and losing 40 pounds. In the first few days, 5000 meters seemed to be a mountain pressing me. When I was running on the treadmill, the meters I had run increased slowly, yet I felt more and more difficult to breathe. That moment I want to give up, but when I thought myself in the mirror and failure in the sports exam, I choose to insist. One week passed, a month went by, 1 year passed and 2 years passed. Finally, In the summer in 2014, I lost almost 45 pounds. I substituted my shirt for T-shirt, suit pants instead of sport pants. I got dressed up. I regained my confidence. The most important point is that I won the championship in the running of company. At at moment, I thought the sweat of these years was worth it.
